Program Goals

• Reduce salmonid predation by Northern Pikeminnow through targeted
fisheries in the Columbia and Snake Rivers
• Reduce, not eliminate, the number and average size of Northern
Pikeminnow
• Provide monetary incentives to encourage angler participation in the
fishery
• Annually evaluate the effectiveness of the overall Northern
Pikeminnow sport reward Program in reducing salmonid predation
