How to Redeem

Learning Credits can be redeemed toward training with participating authorized
Learning Partner, both internal and external. It can also redeem toward Cisco Live
event and more. Please see Program Guidelines for detailed offerings. Learning
Credits are valid for one year after activation. Courses must begin before the
expiration of the Learning Credits.
Training / Courses Redemption Steps:
1.
Access the Cisco Learning Locator
2.
Search course by key word or by f ilter
3.
Choose the Learning Partner listed that is prov iding the course
4.
In order to register f or the course, y ou will need the Cisco Sales Order number associated with y our Learning
Credits and the number of Learning Credits needed f or the course.

If y ou do not hav e any Learning Credits in y our account to take the course, y ou can either purchase more or
pay the dif f erence with other methods (PO, Credit cards, etc). Discuss this with the Learning Partner
●
Example: The course would require 30 Learning Credits to register and y ou only hav e 28 LC. Most Learning
Partners will allow y ou to pay cash / PO f or the $200 USD dif f erence.
5.
Once registered, the Learning Credits will be debited by the Learning Partner f rom y our account.

Important: If y our account's Team Captain has elected to approv e ev ery debit, then he or she would need
to approv e the debit transaction in Learning Credits Management Tool (External). It is crucial that y ou
inf orm y our account's Team Captain to approv e the debit transaction if y ou are not the Team Captain.
●
6.
If y our account's Team Captain has elect the auto-approv al, then no action is needed

Note: Y our account's Team Captain can track account credits 24x7 using the Learning Credits
Management Tool (External) to report on who has taken the training, when it was taken, and the balanc e in
the account.

Register with Cisco Liv e
2.
Select CLC as pay ment method
3.
Enter Cisco Sales Order number in “SO#” f ield and number of credits required in the “SO Credits” f ield
4.
Click Process Registration
