Cisco Asset Management Service
Overview
IT assets are the cornerstone to running your business. In order to maximize the value
they deliver, these assets should be managed from the time they are requested and
procured through retirement and disposal. But tracking high volumes of assets is a
daunting task for any organization, especially those with large, dynamic networks.
Cisco® Asset Management Service is designed to help your organization get the
most out of your Cisco investments by providing the additional expertise needed
to proactively manage your IT environment and make sure your asset management
system is accurate and kept up to date. Through a consultative engagement, Cisco
helps your organization maintain near real-time installed base (IB) inventory, enabling
more informed decisions in support of your organization’s business objectives.
Get the Most Value from Your Product Investments
Cisco Asset Management Service simplifies the management of your Cisco hardware
and software and helps ensure that they are always ready to use. It provides an
accurate view of your organization’s assets throughout their lifecycle by collecting the
latest IB data from all available sources, including the collector network work, Cisco
internal databases, and customer data. As a result, you can make smarter purchasing
decisions and accurately forecast future needs. The service is available in three
levels - Standard, Premium, and Tailored - that deliver increasingly personalized and
customized services.
