Hereford Funds-IMVA Opportunity Fund
April 2014
April 2014 Investment Review
April was moderately cruel, but, on the whole, our companies look good and are perfectly capable of leading us out of the small capitalization wasteland. Among our
largest positions, Ocwen and Altisource Portfolio Solutions continue to execute well. They are coy about their dealings with the NY Financial regulator, but I suspect
this issue will be neutralized in several quarters. Also, Altisource is in the process of getting its stock repurchase authorization expanded by the Luxembourg
financial authority, and I suspect ASPS will be repurchasing stock aggressively if the price remains around these levels. 3D Systems continues to be a battleground
stock. Each side took what they wanted out of the earnings release, but I believe DDD is right on track, if not ahead of their plans. Revenue growth looks strong
across the board, and I suspect DDD will generate operating leverage faster than most on the sell side are modeling. Battleground stocks can be stressful, but I
believe the long-term bears on DDD will be left holding a handful of dust. Luminex reported an excellent quarter, and their Project Aires appears to give the company
much more potential upside than had been previously assumed. Apple rounds out our largest five positions, and I am gratified to see our thesis playing out there.

Investment Objective
The investment objective of the Hereford Funds-IMVA Opportunity Fund is to provide capital appreciation over a multi-year investment horizon by investing primarily
in a diversified portfolio of publicly traded equity securities of US-based companies, which hold unique opportunities in the opinion of the Investment Manager.
Potential investments comprise small, mid, and large capitalization companies; growth and value companies; and special situations, including non US-based
companies, which are listed on a US exchange. The strategy is highly concentrated and appropriate only for risk-tolerant, long-term investors who can accept the
potential for materially greater volatility than the broad market indices.
The indicative benchmarks are the S&P 1500 and the S&P 500 Indices.
