from highly complex medical treatments, such as
I.V. therapy and intensive rehabilitation, to

The purpose of the screenings is two-fold. First, it
allows the graduate students who will be testing to
obtain hours in the area of Prevention. Second, it
ensures, as per the ASHA guidelines for the
profession, that the students being screened are
equipped with the speech, language and hearing
skills necessary to provide good models to the
clients they serve.
Oak Lawn Senior Center welcomes all residents
over 50 years of age. It provides seniors an
opportunity to gather for various activities such as
exercise classes, arts and crafts, movies, games,
seminars, lunches, and even field trips.
