ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Personal statement: My overriding research interests involve understanding how to improve
chronic and long-term care processes for older adults with complex health needs. I am
particularly interested in family caregiving - both how family caregivers influence recipient
interactions with the medical community, as well as how the medical community can better
support family caregivers.
Keywords: health services research, gerontology, disability, personal care, family caregiving,
assistive technology.
