Early Youth Engagement in first episode psychosis services
Research studies have shown that using early intervention in psychosis services gives
young people the best chance of recovery from psychosis and reduces the risk of
relapse and suicide BUT at least a quarter of all young people who are referred to early
intervention services drop out and don’t use everything that’s on offer from these
services. We want to make these services better so that young people get the most out
of services and their recovery.
