Workshop Purpose: To help members of the public understand the forest
management and wildlife analyses in the Draft Resource Management
Plan/Environmental Impact Statement, and offer a forum for informed
community dialogue and constructive comments.

Participants are invited to participate in three smaller group discussions to learn more and
dialogue about aspects of Forest Management and Wildlife strategies and results of the
analysis. Through a facilitated discussion, participants will have the opportunity to dialogue
about:
– Forest Management Strategies
– Northern Spotted Owl Management Strategies
– Other Wildlife Management Strategies
In addition, a “Comments” table will be available to those who are ready to formulate specific
comments to share with the BLM on their Draft EIS/RMP. Participants will also be able to
explore data at an interactive mapping station.
