Topography: Sprague Lake Islands are 3 low lying islands. 2 of the islands have
higher knobs on them.
Vegetation Features: Sprague Lake Islands support a variety of trees, shrubs and
grasses.
Major human uses/ activities: recreational fishing and hunting occur in the area.
Recreational boating in this area is highly popular throughout the year. Ice fishing is
also popular in these areas.

natural condition. The larger island has a small rustic structure which can be easily
removed.

opportunities for solitude?

Description: Sprague Lake Islands do not provide outstanding opportunities for
solitude. There is a railroad track located on the lake bank to the west and within
50 yards. Less than a Y4 mile away from the islands is Interstate-90. These
features dominate the immediate landscape near the islands and do not provide
outstanding opportunities for solitude.

to unnaturalness and the remainder is of sufficient size) have outstanding
opportunities for primitive and unconfined recreation?

Description: Although hunting, fishing and recreational boating do occur in the
area of these islands, these islands do not provide outstanding opportunities for
primitive and unconfined recreation.
