Salem, Ore - An active rock slide has closed the Nestucca Access Road at Mile Post 15, 1/2 mile east of the Elk Creek Bridge, and 0.2 miles east of Elk Bend Campground.

Nestucca Access Road Closed at Mile Post 15
Salem, Ore—An active rock slide has closed the Nestucca Access Road at Mile Post 15, 1/2 mile
east of the Elk Creek Bridge, and 0.2 miles east of Elk Bend Campground. Road closed signs
are posted at the intersection with the Bald Mountain Access Road on the east side of the slide,
and at the intersection with the Bible Creek Access Road on the west side of the slide. The BLM
is currently assessing the safety and logistics of the cleanup efforts. Please avoid the area as long
as road closed signs are posted.
