DMD Membership Information

Delta Mu Delta (DMD) is an international honor society in Business Administration
recognizing Business Administration students who have distinguished themselves
scholastically. Becoming a member of Delta Mu Delta should be the goal of every person
pursuing a degree in business administration where Delta Mu Delta membership is
possible. Induction into the society is by invitation only.
The current minimum criteria for students to be invited into DMD membership at GSU is
listed below:
Undergraduate Business Programs
• Must be a current degree seeking student in a business program
• Must have 27 hours of business courses completed at GSU
• Must have a cumulative average of 3.7 or better in business courses
• Must be in the top 20% of your class
Graduate Business Programs
• Must be a current degree seeking student in a business program
• Must have completed 18 hours of graduate level business courses
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8 or better in business courses
• Must be in the top 20% of your class
Once a year based on these guidelines, all eligible business students will receive an
invitation to join Delta Mu Delta and attend the induction ceremony annually. If you
receive an invitation, we highly encourage you to join Delta Mu Delta. Once you join,
your membership lasts a lifetime.
