2010-2011 Cuyamaca College and United States University Transfer Agreement: Lower Division General Education Requirements Please note Community College students can transfer to United States University at any time as long as they have completed USU minimum enrollment/transfer requirements. USU’s minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent. Transfer Information: Students must have a High School diploma or GED or have passed the High School Equivalency exam. Transfer students can transfer up to 60 lower division units from Transfer Level Courses to USU under the following conditions: 1) Students must have a GPA of 2.0 in all transfer courses, AND 2) Each transfer course must be completed with a “C” grade or better. *Please note United States University does not accept “D” grades. Liberal Studies majors: see Lower Division Major and GE Requirements for Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies form instead. B1: Life Sciences (3 units) BIOL 130: General Biology I B2: Physical Science (3 Units) Complete any B1 course from CSU Breadth General Education or any 5A course from IGETC B3: Mathematics (3 Units) Complete any B4 course from CSU Breadth General Education or any Area 2 mathematics course from IGETC B4: Technology (3 Units) No Equivalent Area C: Humanities (Please complete 6 units to include 3 units from the Arts and 3 units from the Humanities) C1: Arts (3 Units) Complete any C1 course from CSU Breadth General Education or any 3A course from IGETC C2: Humanities (3 Units) PHIL 110: A General Introduction to Philosophy Area D: History and Social Science (Please complete two courses from D1 and one course from D2). If you are a bilingual student, you may complete this requirement with upper division courses after transfer.
