How to create a textbox for a NON EDITABLE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
You only need to make one textbox, then copy it and use it for each required application
line. Use the steps below to create a textbox in an application.
STEP 1: Copying Uneditable Application to Word Document
 Copy or Save Application to computer desktop
OR
 Save Application to desktop as a .JEG
o Open a New blank MS Word Document
 Paste APPLICATION or JPEG onto new document page
 Click on: Page Layout
 Select: Margins “.5”
STEP2: Putting a Textbox on an Uneditable Application
 Click on: Insert Pull-down Menu
o Select: Shapes
o Select :Textbox
o Paste: on to Application
STEP3: Editing Textbox for Application

Right Click on: Textbox
o Select: Format Shape
 Click on: Fill
o Select: No Fill
 Click on: Line Color
 Select: No Line




Click on: Textbox
See: Vertical Alignment
Select: Pull-Down Menu change to “Bottom”
Select: Internal Margin ALL Set Bottom Margin to “0”
 Click on: Textbox
 Click on: Page Layout Pull-down Menu
o Change Spacing to “0”
 Click on: Textbox (outside edge of textbox)
o Right Click on Mouse
o Select: “Copy”
 Click on Textbox
 Right Click on Mouse
 Select “Paste”
 See: New Test Box (Red Arrow)
NOTE:
1. Paste as many textboxes as required for the application and line up each textbox
accurately and neatly over each require entry.
2. Change the FONT SIZE of each textbox to equal the applications FONT SIZE (As closely
as possible) SEE EXAMPLE BELOW:
