2012 Summer School Information
Attention:
Reduced state funding for higher education has forced Grossmont and
Cuyamaca Colleges to significantly reduce the number of classes that will be
available for summer 2012.
SDSU CROSS ENROLLMENT SUMMER SCHOOL OPTION
Current local community college students (Spring 2012) are allowed to cross enroll in one course at SDSU
for $10.00 without being enrolled at the community college. The SDSU Cross Enrollment form is available
in the Transfer Center or Counseling Center or on the SDSU website (www.sdsu.edu).
*Note: Attending any other college or university can effect the Transfer Agreement Guarantee (TAG) to
prospective universities. Please meet with a counselor for more information.

Title 5: Course Repetition and Withdrawal
EAST COUNTY
18TH ANNUAL JOB FAIR
At Cuyamaca College
Building I, 2nd Floor
Tuesday, May 1, 2012

OVER 50 EMPLOYERS
The California Community College Board of
Governors recently passed revisions to Title 5
regarding course repetition that will take effect
during the 2012 summer session. Students will only
be allowed to enroll in a course three times if they
received a substandard grade (D, F, NP or NC) or
withdrew from the class with a “W.” Students with
extenuating circumstances may seek approval to
enroll in a course for the fourth time through the
petition process. These changes do not contain a
grandfather clause so any student that has already
taken a course the maximum number of times will
no longer be able to take the same class within the
Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District.
