and actions taken at recent District & College Council Meetings.
C. Area D Meeting – Alicia Muñoz will give a report on the Area D meeting and
key resolutions that will be debated at the Academic Senate Spring 2014
Plenary.
D. Governing Board Report – A summary of actions taken at the March 18th
Governing Board meeting will be provided.
E. Conversation with Vice Chancellor of Human Resources Marsha Edwards –
Vice Chancellor Edwards will discuss proposed changes to the hiring processes
and the objectives of the “Hiring Smart” Workshops.
III. Vice President’s Report

appointments to committees.

A. Changes to the Bylaws - The Senate will entertain a motion to approve
changes to the bylaws that address the election process of part time faculty.

will present the Council of Chief Librarians’ (CCLC) response to proposed ACCJC
standards.
