provide an update on the current election process & timeline.
C. District & College Council Updates – Updates will be provided on discussions and actions
taken at recent District & College Council Meetings.

A. SOC Committee Appointments – Nancy Jennings will report on new faculty appointments to
committees.

A. GCCCD Educational Master Plan – The Senate will entertain a motion to endorse the 2012
GCCCD Educational Master Plan.

INFORMATION

A. College Mission & Vision Statements – Discussions will continue on the proposed revisions to
the College Mission & Vision Statements.
B. Mentoring Program for Tenure Track Faculty – A proposal for establishing a mentoring
program for tenure track faculty will be presented for discussion.
C. Student Success Act of 2012 – This newly proposed legislation, based on recommendations
from the CCC Student Success Task Force, will be presented for discussion.
