Free Microsoft Office 365 including Office 2013 Software

What is it?
Office 365 comes with Office 2013 and 2016 applications in addition to many other resources. You can
install the applications on your computer (up to 5 devices). To use Office 365, you need PC: Windows 7
or later or Mac: Mac OS X 10.6 or later. Your account will be active as long as you are a student (or
employee) at the college.
Students
You have two places you can get Office 365. The easiest way is the one from
seattlecolleges.edu/office365.

The following instruction shows an alternate option. It also includes Microsoft Windows. This could be
used by Mac users who want to install Windows OS on a petitioned hard drive so that you can run MS
Access.
1. All students have EdNet (google) email accounts with addresses in the form
[email protected] . For example, mine (Yun Moh) could be
[email protected] . You must use that address for the Kivuto store login.
2. You should have received a message to your seattlecentral.edu email account with details
needed to access the Kivuto store the first time. Once complete the instruction in the email, you
just sign in at seattlecentral.edu/onthehub.
3. You must choose the Student tab, Microsoft Corporation section, Office 365 ProPlus, and then
proceed from there. Do NOT choose the “O365 University” option. That’s a different plan and is
not free.
You can also purchase several discounted applications at the web store, including Adobe
Creative Cloud.
4. When you sign up for Office 365 ProPlus, you will be given an Office 365 account in the form
[email protected]. The “ed” part is to keep this from interfering with your
Google Ednet student account. This new name is ONLY for Office 365 and is not your login to
the Kivuto store. That remains [email protected] .
Employees
1. All employees have college email accounts with addresses in the form
[email protected] . The seattlecolleges.edu address is what employees
must use as a login name for the Kivuto store seattlecentral.edu/onthehub. You should have
received a message to that email address giving you more info for the Kivuto login. If you set
that up last year, it will still work.
2. Employees must choose the faculty-staff tab and proceed from there.
3. Employees can purchase several discounted applications at the store, including a full version of
OfficePro Plus for $9.95, or can sign up for the O365 A2 free access. When you sign up for that
access you will be given an O365 account in the form
[email protected] The “ed” part is to make these accounts
identifiable and to keep from interfering with Google accounts at seattlecentral.edu Again, the
@ed.seattlecentral.edu is your O365 account, not used to login to the Kivuto store to make
purchases. It is just for use with O365.
4. You may use your O365 account for either personal or home use. These may go away later
when the district implements a districtwide O365 service. We will give you lots of notice!
The Office ProPlus, whether the free version for students, or the $9.95 version for employees can be
used on up to five devices. Microsoft plans to change the costs and options in December 2014.
