This booklet contains statistical information about the Bureau
of Land Management and its natural resource progr~ in Oregon
and Washington.
Data in most instances apply to fiscal year 1977, which began on
October 1, 1976 and ended on September 30, 1977. That was the
first year under the new fiscal year system established earlier
by Congress. Some data are listed as of September 30, 19-77, t'he
last day of' the fiscal year.
Data for fiscal year 1976, which under the old system extended
from July 1, 1975 to June 30, 1976, were published in the preceding
edition of BLM Facts.
