IT How To Instructions for Setting Up Android Devices to Connect to SCCD Exchange Given the variety of Android operating systems, it is not possible to provide detailed instructions or screenshots for each version and device manufacturer. However, here are the general instructions and tips to set up your Android device to connect to the SCCD Exchange server: You can usually start the process to set up the account from within the Email app itself, or from within an “Add Account” option somewhere in the device settings Your email address is in the format [email protected] If you are prompted for the type of email account, select the type that refers to “Exchange” If you are prompted for the Domain in a separate field, enter SCCD Your username should be the username you type in when logging into Outlook (for most, this is probably their first initial followed by their last name) If you are not prompted for the Domain separately anywhere, enter SCCD\username in the username field (reminder: your username should be the username you type in when logging into Outlook) The Exchange server address should be mail.seattlecolleges.edu If there is an option to use a secure connection (SSL), select that option You might be prompted to accept remote security policies (this is a requirement to connect to the SCCD Exchange server) At some point in the process, you might be prompted for what data you’d like to sync with your device (E‐mail, Calendar, and/or Contacts)
