Workforce Programs Articulation Agreement between
Seattle Central Community College
And
Antioch University
To create a clear and easy pathway for students in Workforce Programs at Seattle Central
Community College (SCCC) to transfer to and complete their baccalaureate degree at Antioch
University, this Transfer Agreement outlines all transfer requirements, provisions, and related
advertising considerations.
The following programs:
will be accepted by Antioch University with 90 quarter transfer credits. Transferring students
must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or C. Courses numbered
lower than 100-level are not included in this transfer agreement.
Transfer of more than 90 quarter credits will be considered on a course by course basis up to a
total of 120 lower division (100/200 level) ,quarter credits. Courses with a grade lower than C- or
1.6 will not transfer.
Students completing the Associate in Applied Science degree (AAS) must also have completed
a minimum of 6 quarter credits in English Composition, Business Writing, Written
Communication or equivalent college level writing course work.
SCCC and Antioch University may choose to develop written materials which outline for SCCC
students, the programs, policies and procedures relevant to this Transfer Agreement.
This agreement will remain in effect until a mutually agreed-upon change is deemed necessary.
This aqreernent may be terminated by SCCC or Antioch University with appropriate written
notification. Each institution agrees to provide termination notice one year prior to intended
change.
SCCC and Antioch University officially authorize this agreement on 1st day of June, 2011, with
the agreement becoming effective immediately,
SCCC and Antioch University agree to reevaluate this agreement two years from the date of the
initial agreement, to determine if the articulation is still valid.
