Chirp is a new way to share information by using sound. The sounds is a way
to scramble the information being sent out from one phone to another
device that has the Chirp program. The receiving device descrambles the
message and displays the information. The information being sent from one
device to another device include photos, links, video clips, MP#s, PDFs, and
lots more. The musical message (you pick your sound/song) send out the
message to anyone near you who is running the app. All you need to do is
click your chirp button and the message is sent!
So how can you use Chirp in your class?
1. This program is perfect for sending out a quick messages in class while your students are busy
so you don’t disrupt the flow of class.
2. As you lecture or complete a class activity you can send out additional information for just
students who make it to class and all you do is send a Chirp.
3. You can Chirp out study materials for students as a reward for attending class.
4. Students struggling with a topic, quickly send out a Chirp message with information for all
students just in case you have some not wanting to ask for help.
5. Need a way for students to quickly share links, videos, pictures, or PDF documents with each
