Using SafeAssign
What is it?
SafeAssign compares submitted assignments against a set of academic papers to
identify areas of overlap. Papers are compared against the following databases:
 Internet
 ProQuest ABI/Inform
 Institutional document archives
 Global Reference Database
You can use SafeAssign to help prevent plagiarism as well as provide an opportunity
for students to identify potential issues with citations through the DirectSubmit
feature.
SafeAssign and the assignment tool are completely separate. Please note the key
