WAMITAB issues credit card sized Competence Cards that allow individuals to prove that they are the
technically competent person on their waste site after they have achieved their:



Operator Competence Card: anyone that has achieved their Operator Competence Certificate by
completing 4 unit, 6 unit or 12 unit qualifications can request this card.
Certificate of Technical Competence Card: anyone that elected to pay extra for the Certificate of
Technical Competence (CoTC) when registering for their 12 unit diploma is eligible for this card.
Continuing Competence Card: anyone that successfully passed their Continuing Competence
assessment as part of the CIWM/WAMITAB Continuing Competence scheme can request this card.
