Paraeducation
Paraeducators work in schools to provide
assistance to licensed teachers. Paraeducators
work with a variety of students with diverse
backgrounds, disabilities and special needs.
Working with teachers, they implement
educational plans and assist with the
administration, monitoring and scoring of
assignments, quizzes and other evaluations.
Reinforcing positive behavior is important to
the work atmosphere when tutoring groups or
individuals.
The Paraeducation program is a hybrid
program which combines on-campus and
online classes.
