Parma Woods Shooting Range & Outdoor Education Center is
designed to help you become a sharper, safer hunter or outdoors
person. Come to shoot targets or attend one of our many outdoor
skills programs. Our staff of specialists and
trained volunteers can help you or your
group master firearms and archery, as
well as map and compass, wildlife
identification and many other
outdoor skills.
Range hours
Closed on state holidays. Hours are
subject to change prior to deer season in the fall.
May 1—Sept. 30
• Friday–Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Monday and Tuesday: 2 to 8 p.m.
Oct. 1—April 30
• Friday–Tuesday: noon to 4:30 p.m.
Facilities & fees
Facilities are available for individual or group use. Call for more
information and possible restrictions.
• Rifle/pistol/shotgun range—$3 per booth per hour
• Archery range—$3 per person per hour
Directions
From downtown Parkville, in Platte
County, go west on Route FF (Mill
St.) to River Road (intersection at
Parkville Vikings football field),
then west on River Road
about 3 miles. The entrance
is located west of I-435.
