Dutch Atchley ('71)

“Dutch” Atchley graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in 1971. He was a member of the Football team earning all
league and All CIF-SS honors. He was a team captain and member of the prestigious “Golden Seraphs” his Senior year.
From St. Bonaventure he moved onto Ventura College and then California State University at Fullerton. He graduated
from the University of Pacific with a Secondary Teaching Credential and Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1976.
“Dutch” performed his Pharmacy internship at Encino Hospital and practiced Clinical and Retail Pharmacy in Santa Barbara
for five years. He practiced community Pharmacist in Ojai for 30 years, 23 years as owner of Ojai Rexall Drugs.
He is a member of the California Academy of Pharmacy Owners, California Pharmacists Association, American Pharmacists
Association, National Association of Community Pharmacists, Regional and National Board member for Good Neighbor
Pharmacy.
“Dutch” has been married to his wife and business partner Diane (SBHS class of 1971) for 36 years and they have two children, Jennifer 29 and Christina 21.
