Bill is a 1975 graduate of St. Bonaventure. He was the second of four brothers to graduate as Seraphs Tom (’72 and fellow SBHS Hall of Fame Member), Bob (’76) and Kevin (’79). Bill’s father Ed
helped found the SBHS Booster Club and his mother Rita worked in the school office for over twenty years.
Bill was the starting quarterback on the Varsity football team for three years, he was Team Captain and
All Tri-Valley League. He was voted First team on the inaugural All Ventura County team. He was
selected as the starting quarterback and Team Captain for the West team in the 1975 Ventura County
All-Star game. He led the Seraphs to the 1973 CIF-SS Play-offs and was selected as a Golden
Seraph for the 1974 season.
Bill was a three year starter for the Seraph Varsity Basketball team. He was selected team captain and earned All Tri Valley League honors. He led the Seraphs in rebounding and helped them reach the CIF-SS play-offs.
Bill was a three year member of the SBHS Track team participating in Relays and Hurdles. The 1975 team were Tri Valley League Champions.
He went on to continue his football career at Ventura College. Bill makes his home in Ventura and has three adult children,
Casey, Kyle and Makenna (SBHS class of ’10)
He is being presented tonight by his daughter Makenna a 2010 SBHS Alum.
