ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE DEGREE –
DIRECT TRANSFER DEGREE
between
PORTLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE
and
OREGON STATE UNIVERISTY
Origination Date: Spring 2009
B.S. in Design and Human Environment: Housing Studies
It is agreed that students transferring from Portland Community College having completed their
Associate of Applied Science degree: Architectural Design and Drafting and having been admitted to
the Design and Human Environment Housing Studies Program will be granted junior status at Oregon
State University. This agreement is based on the evaluation of the rigor and content of PCC’s
coursework and OSU's Baccalaureate Core and major/option requirements of the B.S. degree in
Design and Human Environment Housing Studies Program.
Note: Students may only transfer 124 lower-division credits towards an Oregon State University
Baccalaureate degree. This agreement is subject to yearly re-evaluation by both schools for
continuance. Changes to degree requirements or courses at either institution will necessitate an
addendum that will be attached to this articulation agreement.
