drank in the past. However, it is not so acceptable to the
teenagers and younger adults.

“Du” selling the “Leung Cha” in a shop in Chun Yuen
Street. She is the shop owner. She opens the shop 7:00a.m.
to 9:00 everyday. She has unstable every month, but mostly
is around $5000 to $6000. She has no choice to do this
occupation as it is the family business. There is no any
sir-conditioner in the shop. As she has been doing the
occupation for almost forty years, she has already adapted
to the environment and the job. She thinks the environment
is quite comfortable and it is not a hard work for her to
wake up early in the morning and boil the “Leung Cha”.
Therefore, she will let her sons and daughters to take this
job if they like. Despite of the SARS broken out, it didn’t
affect the business as mostly of the customers were living
there. At last, she thinks that occupation has its own existing
value because many Hong Kong people think Chinese
medicine is healthier than the Western medicine and it is a
Chinese
culture.
However,
she
has
experiences about her job. What’s a pity!
