Idiomes UPF is the University Language
Centre and its aim is to meet the
language needs of our university
community. Our mission is to provide
linguistic training in foreign languages
as well as in Catalan and Spanish,
which is essential for both social and
professional development in a multilingual society. Our experienced teaching
team cares about student language
education in an European context.
REGISTRATION
Registration for the Catalan courses is at
the Idiomes UPF main office (Roger de
Llúria building, 40.177, Ciutadella Campus).

CATALAN OFFICIAL EXAMS
The UPF is a center for the official Catalan
language exams (CIFALC). There are three exam periods
each year, at the end of each trimester: December,
March and June.
Levels: CEFR A2, B1, B2, C1, C2
Dates and registration period to be announced
Prerequisite: having studied Catalan at Idiomes UPF.
Levels 1 and 2 include preparation for the CEFR A2 certificate. Level
3 includes preparation for the CEFR B1 certificate. Level 5 includes
preparation for the CEFR B2 certificate. Catalan for Specific Purposes
(CIFALC) includes preparation for the CEFR C1 certificate.
