A total of ten (10), thirty minute,
video-taped television
productions were produced and aired exploring the role and
function of the psychotherapist/counselor serving the community.
The program content includes the following:
Program I- -A description and discus sian of Freudian,
Adlerian, Behavioralistic, and Humanistic psychotherapies.
topics include

Martin Buber' s "!-Thou" philosophy in relationship
to psychotherapy;
the struggle for identity;
the process and
resistance to change; breaking through resistance;
intra-psychic
conflict; and, building a relationship with a client.
Program TI--The discussion focuses on the reading and
analysis of a psychological monologue entitled,

"Chaim Meets
Topics include
anxiety neurosis; transference neurosis; feelings of helplessness
and guilt; anger; feelings of persecution; existential anxiety; and
helping the client to focus on his feelings.
