Kashmira Kale

We are pleased to welcome Kashmira Kale,
who joins the UNAIDS Country Office for
Nepal and Bhutan for her internship with us,
through October 11, 2015.
Kashmira is a first-year Masters of Public
Health
and
Masters
of
Business
Administration candidate at the Johns
Hopkins University Bloomberg School of
Public Health and the Johns Hopkins Carey
Business School.
Prior to starting this combined programme,
Kashmira worked as a healthcare consultant,
for three years, doing process improvement
in the clinical setting in hospitals around the
U.S. She is pursuing her MPH and MBA
degrees to better understand how to apply
business methodologies in the field of public
health.
She currently works for the Center of Communication Programs at Johns Hopkins,
and researches the application of business models of coordination to public health
in emergency settings. Her primary interests at UNAIDS include communities’
engagement in public health; the HIV prevention-HIV treatment continuum; harm
reduction, and key population ‘in-reach.’ In her free time, she enjoys reading,
dancing, picnicking, and rock-climbing!
