HCI Project Goal and Overall
Objective
Goal: Achieve and document measurable
improvements in:
1) the quality of health care in USAID-assisted countries
2) the quality of human resources planning and
management, including HR strategies traditionally
linked to quality of care, such as supervision and
training.
Overall Objective of the IQC:
Develop the capacity of host country health systems to
apply improvement science with a focus on adapting
modern quality improvement (QI) approaches to the
needs of USAID-assisted countries.
