This is a bank note which valued one hundred Hong Kong dollars. There is a dragon on the
front side of this note, it is because dragon can represent our nationality – Chinese. Also, it is
because Hong Kong is one of the “Four Little Asian Dragons”. Besides, I use a bauhinia on
the laser label, it is because bauhinia is the regional flower of Hong Kong. On the back side,
there is the scenery of the Victoria Harbor. The tallest building in that picture is the Two
International Finance Centre, which is the highest building in Hong Kong. Same as the name
of the Building, The IFC can represent that Hong Kong is a busy international financial centre.
Moreover, the watermark on the back side is the Golden Bauhinia Square, the golden
Bauhinia is the gift from China on 1st July, 1997. It can represent that Hong Kong is a part of
China.
