New Features
This section lists new features and enhancements for Cisco Videoscape Voyager
Vantage Release 4.1.

New Features
 Support is added for Explorer 9800 Series Video Gateway devices with up to 8
active tuners.
 Conflict Management for Explorer 9800 is provided to account for up to 8 active
tuners.
 Support is added for Explorer 9800 Series Video Gateway devices in a multiroom DVR (MR-DVR) home network with existing G6 set-tops.
 Support is added for Closed Captioning that is compliant with new FCC
requirements.
 Jump Back and Jump Forward functions are available using the PG- and PG+
buttons.
Note: The default increment of 3 minutes can be configured by the operator.
 Toggling between Slow and Normal Play modes is enabled by toggling the
PLAY button while watching TSB and DVR content.
 "Save Until I Erase" is the default "Save Until" selection for single-instance and
series recordings.
 Optimization resulting in sub 5-minute boot-up times and support for channel
+/-, direct tune, and trick-play operation during set-top boot-up.
 The boot-up banner is redesigned so that does not distract from the video.
 The power-on channel is configurable with options.
 The DVS icon is supported in the Info banner and is selectable from the Tool
banner.
 Support is added to hide or skip unsubscribed channels from the Guide.
 Operator-specific defaults can now be established on a hub basis.
 An enhancement allows for channel navigation by entering the channel number.
 Support is added for up to 10 days of Guide data.
 Support is added for 5x4 Cisco Blue theme; up to 2 hours of data can be
displayed in the Guide grid.
