How to Enable a DMP for Touch Screen Control Revised: May 1, 2015 Software Release: 3.1.0-787 and Later Releases Quick Facts This task note describes how to configure touch screen controller support on DMPs in Cisco StadiumVision Director. Note Touch screen control is only supported on the Cisco DMP 4310G. • Cisco StadiumVision Director supports a limited number of touch screen drivers for the Cisco DMP 4310G. To ensure compatibility of your devices, contact your Cisco Systems sales representative. • Touch screen controller support requires a Cisco DMP 4310G running a minimum of Cisco DMS version 5.4. • Calibration only needs to be performed once per DMP unless you change the display device make or model. To configure the display controller device, do the following: a. Go to Control Panel > Setup > Devices > Display Specifications. b. Click plus (+) icon to add a device. c. In the Basic Info panel, specify: – Device name, Make, Model – Touch Screen Type d. Click Save. Note Step 3 This configuration is sent to the DMP when you run Initialize Touch Screen for the DMP from the Management Dashboard. Go to the Management Dashboard. Step 4 Under the DMP and TV Controls drawer, go to DMP Install > Initialize Touch Screen. 2 How to Enable a DMP for Touch Screen Control Task Action Step 5 In the Select Devices box, select the DMP(s) where you want to enable touch screen support. Step 6 Click the Play icon to initialize the selected DMPs. The display specifications from the Control Panel are sent to the DMP and the selected DMP(s) reboot. Step 7 To calibrate the touch screens for the selected DMPs, select Show Calibration. Step 8 Click the Play icon to calibrate the touch screen displays associated with the selected DMPs. A calibration screen appears on the TV display. Step 9 Follow the instructions on the TV display, and touch the crosshairs to calibrate the controller.
