Title:
VDS-SM does not handle LIVE and VOD Delivery
Service effectively with the same SRDN.
Description:
When creating LIVE and VOD Delivery Service
through CDS-IS with the same SRDN, VDS-SM
appends both service types as one (LIVE VOD) and
the delivery service is not displayed when the
drop-down list is selected, based on the Service Type
(Live/VOD). It will only display if the Service Type
is ALL.
Steps to Reproduce Issue:
1 Create LIVE and VOD Delivery Service with the
same name in CDS-IS
2 Wait till the CDN synchronizes and the topology
CSV is updated
3 After summarization, it will append as Live VOD.
This can be verified in the Search page.
Problem Type:
Defect
Suggested Workaround:
Avoid creating Live and VOD Delivery Service with
the same SRDN in CDS-IS.
