How to Create an External Release Note
This section explains how to use this document as the start point for an external
release note.
1. Copy this document and name it External RN_PROD-ver.doc
2. Change the document properties (remove the Draft watermark) using the
Document Information dialog.
3. Delete the whole Internal Use section (Section 4).

4. Delete the Project, Detection Phase and Severity columns in the CQ summary
tables.
5. If hyperlinks to iCQ have been included in the CQ ID columns of the tables in
section 3.2 & 4, replace these links with static text.
6. Check the entire document to remove specific customer names (watch CQ
descriptions in particular).
7. Check for spelling, grammar, punctuation etc.
8. Change the view to show hidden text, then delete it all.
9. Update the table of contents.
10. Create a PDF copy.
11. Post a copy of the external release note on BlackWidow.
