BUILD ISRAEL PALESTINE COUNCIL (BIP) Local Example of Problem: • In 2005, in the Palestinian village of Azmut, an untreated sewage prevented farmers from selling their contaminated crops, and a severe mosquito problem and illness among nearby village residents broke out. • A woman from the village called life there "terrible...as if we're living in a swamp. We can't even eat our food."
