Eligibility Requirements for the Mature Student Discount
Students age 30 years or older will be granted a 25% Mature Student Discount on tuition for
all undergraduate courses for which they enroll.
The age of a student on the first day of classes determines eligibility for the Mature Student
Discount.
The Mature Student Discount does not apply to graduate course work, individual instruction,
independent study, audited courses, continuing education courses, correspondence courses,
tutored courses, credits beyond 18 in a semester, or summer school courses.
The Mature Student Discount cannot be received in conjunction with any other forms of
need-based institutional (Messiah College) financial aid.
Application for the Mature Student Discount must be made each semester if the student is
enrolled on a part-time basis.
