Marjorie M. and Irwin Nat Pincus Fund The 2012 Pincus Program presents Loren Galler Rabinowitz Miss Massachusetts 2010 & Advocate for Holocaust Remembrance The Third Generation Comes of Age Friday, March 30, 2012 • 7pm Drew University’s Learning Center Rm. 28 (follow ramp to entrance beneath the Library) Loren Galler Rabinowitz was crowned Miss Massachusetts just weeks after graduating from Harvard in 2010. A classically trained pianist and awardwinning poet, she is currently a medical student at Columbia University. In 2011 she was named the Scholar/Athlete of the Year by the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. As a grandchild of Holocaust survivors... Loren is committed to Holocaust education and telling her grandparents' incredible story of survival. This past year, Loren was a keynote speaker for the US Holocaust Memorial Museum annual fundraising gala and at the 15-year commemoration of the New England Holocaust Memorial. She is a spokesperson for Facing History & Ourselves and Generations Remember: A Promise for Boston 3G, a group for the grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. In Loren's own words... "As a grandchild of Holocaust survivors, I am constantly reminded that I belong to a legacy of survivorship and resilience that has existed for thousands of years.” Ms. Rabinowitz will present Drew Hillel’s First Ayshet Chayil Woman of Valor Award to Ann L.
