academic affairs/ improvements

Departmental Council under HoD with all faculties as members are
assigned responsibility to interact with students with respect to
academic affairs & professional skill development.

All teachers prepare their lesson plans in conformity with the
academic calendar of the college.
•
There is sound counselling (Mentor) system in the institute.
•
Individual Counsellor interacts with the students on continuous
basis (Minimum two meetings a semester) to ensure proper
academic environment and ultimate development of professional
skills in the students.

Students evaluate performance of teachers and their assessment
helps in counseling the concerned teachers and improving TeachingLearning Process.

Students of first year have free access to Dean Academic and Dean
Students Welfare who guide them for their various needs.

Personality Development Cell helps students to improve their verbal
expression, skill for group discussion and interviews.

Faculty members participate in developing time-table, lab schedules

Mechanism/ Norms & Procedure for democratic/good
Governance
•
Governing Body of the institute is constituted as per guidelines
issued by AICTE/State Govt. / Affiliating University / Hon’ble
Supreme Court.
•
The faculty members are recruited as per norms laid down by the
AICTE.
•
The pay scales as notified by Ministry of HRD for Teachers are
extended to the faculty.
•
Academic load is assigned to the teacher based on well-established
norms notified by AICTE.
•
All academic and administrative activities of the institute are
organized and implemented as per norms notified by AICTE / State
Govt. / Affiliating University.
•
The principal holds weekly review meeting of all HODs on every
Friday. This helps to get ideas and ensure participative decisionmaking. There is complete transparency in academic as well as in
administrative process.
•
The teaching faculty and students are involved in developing and
improving teaching-learning process as well as general
administration.
•
The learning and evaluation process of students is organized as per
ordinance issued by M.D. University, Rohtak.
•
A Suggestion Box has been placed in Admn. Branch to seek
suggestions from students and faculty to improve college
administration.
Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty
performance
Students give their feedback to the institute with regard to institutional
governance and faculty performance during the General Performance Viva
voce.
At the start of every semester students register themselves and each student
is required to enter his / her assessment of concerned teacher on a sliding
scale of 4. The summary of this data is seen by the Chairman BOG while
considering any faculty for promotion/ increment.

Faculty, Staff and students of the college have full liberty to put across
their grievances to the management of the college as well as to the
Chairman, Governing Body.

girls. All rooms are well equipped for Tripple/ Double sharing basis.
The college is unable to provide transport and reaching the college by
private/ state transport is time consuming and strainous. All students are
