1. The Licensors (the postgraduate and the supervisor) own the copyright to the full text
dissertation/thesis mentioned above. To share resources, make contributions to the society and
facilitate academic research, the Licensors hereby unexclusively and unconditionally authorized IShou University to offer reading or printing services to readers for non-commercial purposes
regardless of areas, time or frequency.
2. As the license herein is non-exclusive, the Licensors (the postgraduate and the supervisor) own the
copyright to the full text of the printed dissertation/thesis. The Licensors(the postgraduate and the
supervisor) hereby certify that they are the creators of the dissertation/thesis mentioned herein, have
the right to license under this Letter, and do not get involved in any intellectual property
infringement. In the event of any infringement of other’s rights or violation of the law, the Licensors
(the postgraduate and the supervisor) shall be held legally liable, and the Licensee (I-Shou
University) does not assume any responsibility or liability.
3. According to Subparagraph 3 of Article 15 in the Copyright Act, where the work is a master’s thesis
or doctoral dissertation written under the Degree Conferral Act and the author has obtained a
degree, it is assumed that the Licensors (the postgraduate and the supervisor) agree on the
immediate display of the dissertation/thesis if they have not ticked any boxes under Public Display of
Print dissertation/thesis. The I-Shou University Library hereby has the right to display the
dissertation/thesis immediately after submission.
4. Please sign below in person, bind the original of this Letter together with the hardcover copy of the
dissertation/thesis, and submit the hardcover copy to the OLIS and complete the check-out
procedures.
