Overview
Introduction
This release note describes the new software release (version 1.0.7-5) of the
Interactive Video Services Proxy(IVSP) application.
Audience
This document is intended for system operators or field service engineers who are
responsible for installing the IVSP application.

IVSP software version 1.0.7-5 is designed to be installed on a Cisco UCS C220 M3
Server. After the software is installed, it provides support for sites that deploy videoon-demand (VOD) and other interactive broadcast services.

System Release Compatibility and Prerequisites
IVSP software version1.0.7-5 can be installed on a on a Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server.
The application comes in the form of rpm.
This is the first formal release of the software.

Software
IVSP 1.0.7-5 includes the following software code:
 ClientProxy-1.0.168-SNAPSHOT.x86_64.rpm
The IVSP Software Installation Guide (part number OL-31219) provides instructions to
install the OVA and rpm for this release from Cisco.
Hardware Supported
IVSP 1.0.7-5 supports the Cisco UCS C220 M3 Server.

Registration of the companion device with the system

Registration is a mechanism by which the end-user should register their
STB to IVSP using their companion device. The Registration can be
through a QR scan (or) manual registration.
A registered user can purchase movie of his choice from the movie
catalog on his companion device. IVSP creates session and starts playing
the movie on the registered STB.
Trick Modes

Rewind, Pause, Forward, Resume are the Trick Modes supported by the
system.
Tear Down

The user can stop the movie while watching using the STOP provision on
his companion device.
