To earn the B.Sc. International Tourism and Hospitality Management degree, students must follow the rules:

Total credits for graduation should be 129; including Core requirements 63 credits, GE required courses 27 credits; IC Core
3 credits; Concentration 18 credits; and Other Electives 18credits.
Students need to take courses from one of the two concentrations: Tourism Management or Hospitality Management. In
addition, students must take 6courses out of 13 courses (equal to 18 credits) for a concentration before graduation.
If students take more than 18 credits in one concentration, the surplus credits can be added on as other elective credits. In
addition, if students take courses from the other concentration, the credits will be added on to other elective credits as well.
Students who decide to intern abroad have to submit an application. The students can intern abroad after their applications
are reviewed and approved by the school. Students who decide to intern abroad should take the courses for that semester
marked with an asterisk (*). They must spend the other semester studying on-campus and enroll in at least 16 credits.
Students interning abroad should understand that their enrolment is limited to 9 credits for that semester.
Students who decide to study abroad have to submit an application. The students can study abroad after their applications are
reviewed and approved by the school. Successful completion of a one-year study abroad program option has a minimum
requirement of the student enrolling for 18 credits. Students can choose to enroll up to 25 credits only. Students studying
abroad for one semester must enroll in at least 9 credits, and enroll in at least 16 credits on-campus in the other semester.
Students may substitute course credits by successfully completing courses in a preapproved summer study abroad program.
Students who decide neither to intern abroad nor to study abroad MUST complete a pre-approved summer study abroad
program of at least four (4) weeks, for which no credits are required.
Students must satisfy the minimum English proficiency level stipulated by the T&H department.

(4) Four (4) week summer study abroad (no credits) + two semesters on campus (32 credits)
