REASONS TO CHOOSE SCC’S HOSPITALITY
& TOURISM MANAGEMENT PROGRAM:
ACCREDITATION
Scottsdale Community College and its programs are
accredited by the The Higher Learning Commission of the
North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA),
founded in 1895. NCA is one of six regional institutional
accreditors in the United States. As a result, credit earned
at SCC is transferable to other colleges and universities
throughout the U.S. and abroad. It is important to note that
many hospitality schools are not regionally accredited.
LOW COST
SCC provides high quality, flexible, and affordable higher
education at a fraction of the cost of most public and private
universities. Our program offers a flexible schedule that allows
students to work in the industry while attending college.
QUALITY INSTRUCTION
Our Hospitality & Tourism Management faculty have extensive
management-level experience in the hospitality industry. All
full-time faculty hold advanced degrees.
SMALL CLASSES
Average class sizes of 20 to 25 students provide quality
interaction, individual attention and a healthy classroom
dynamic. The curriculum is designed to prepare students to
take practical approaches to real-world challenges found in
today’s business environment.
