Pursuing an MBA?
Prep Courses at SCC
You do not need a BS in business to
pursue a Master of Business
Administration (MBA); a bachelor’s
degree in any field will be fine. However, if
you don’t have a BS in business, you may
want to prepare yourself for an MBA
program by taking a few key courses. You
should also prepare for the GMAT (the
Graduate Management Admissions Test),
the entrance exam required for most
graduate business schools.
SCC’s MBA Prep Program is tailored to
your needs based on your previous
education, current profession, and skills.
Why SCC?
•
If you have an accounting degree, you
may want to take a marketing or
calculus to refresh your knowledge.
•
If you have another type of business
degree, you may need to refresh your
understanding of accounting or
statistics.
•
If you have an engineering or other
math-intensive degree, you may want
to take some economics, business,
and statistics courses.
•
If you do not have a business or mathrelated degree, you may want to take
several prep courses, including
economics, marketing, management,
statistics, and calculus.
•
If your computer skills are lacking, you
may want to take some computer
courses, such as Excel.
