Funding Opportunity
The New York State Department of Health has extended the submission deadline to Monday,
August 31, 2015. Applicants can, and are encouraged to, submit prior to the August 31st
deadline.
Revisions to DANY Funding Opportunity Dates
New Program Changes (Supersedes all other document references)
1. All references to the application cycle ending on July 31, 2015 should now be
interpreted as August 31, 2015.
2. All references to the contract start date/service obligation period beginning no later
than April 1, 2016 should now be interpreted as August 1, 2016. The start date can now
be the first day of the month in January through August 2016.
3. All references to the eligibility of a physician “Not currently working in, or serving, an
underserved area in New York State where the current service to the underserved area
began prior to July 1, 2013” should now be interpreted as March 30, 2013.
