Article1
The Principles for Application for Transfer to International College at I-Shou
University (hereinafter referred to as the “Principles”) are prescribed for the purposes
of making the most of learning resources at the newly-established International
College and helping students develop based on their aptitudes.
Article 2
Students getting involved with any of the following situations are not permitted to
apply for transfer to the International College:
1. Students who are subject to suspension of schooling;
2. Students who are enrolled in departments (tracks) in which they are barred from
transfer as per education-related laws and the Admission Brochure.
Article 3
Students who are not the first-grader of the International College may apply for
transfer at the next semester within a given deadline. After approved by the
University, these students shall take the prerequisite courses at the International
College and move into the dormitory for international students.
Article 4
Applicants shall fill out and submit an “Application Form for Transfer into
International College” along with supporting documents. Only with the consent of
the parents and the Chair of the department at which applicants are enrolled in can
the application form be submitted to the Registration Section. Applications by post
are not considered.
Article 5
Applications shall be examined by a Review Panel which is headed by one vice
president as appointed by the President, Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of the
International College and Chair of the department concerned.
Article 6
The International College shall decided whether the course credits applicants earned

at the previous department (track) are recognized and included into the total credit
requirement of graduation.
Article 7
Issues not mentioned herein shall be governed by the Regulations for Application for
Intra- and Inter-Departmental Transfer by Students at I-Shou University and relevant
regulations and rules.
Article 8
The Principles become effective on the third day of promulgation after adopted by
the University Administration Council and ratified by the President.
Note: In the event of any disputes or misunderstanding as the interpretation of the language or
terms of these Principles, the Chinese language version shall prevail.
