Address Maintenance (Ext. 3904) Postal services maintains the campus address information in Banner
for all faculty, staff, and students
Bindery (Ext. 6030) College Press provides a wide range of capabilities including stapling collating,
stitching, padding, shrink wrapping, drilling, plastic and tape binding, cutting, folding, booklet making,
laminating, scoring, and perforating.
Business Card-Brochure-Invitations-Poster Design (Ext. 6030) College Press assists clients with
projects ranging in scope from business cards, brochures, posters, and fliers. The Online form is found on
MCSquare in the Forms Channel under Operations
Copier Service (Ext. 6030) College Press manages the college's campus copier and printer fleets. If
you need to place a service call on a campus print device, contact the Helpdesk at ext. 444 or College
Press at ext. 6030.
Copying (Ext. 6030) College Press provides copying services in black/white and color from hard copy
or electronic files. Copy orders can be placed online, through campus mail, or in person at College Press.
Deliveries are scheduled once daily. The online form is found on MCSquare in the Forms Channel under
Operations.
Courier Service (Ext. 6026) The Post Office delivers mail via courier once a day to Old Main. The
courier begins the routes at 12:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, which includes the delivery of US and campus
mail, as well as pick-up for both campus mail and outgoing US mail.
Document Folding (Ext. 6030) College Press offers a variety of folding options by machine such as:
parallel, double parallel, mailbox, letter, z, and barrel, and are able to handle large sizes and bigger
quantities. Documents can also be folded and inserted into envelopes.
Envelope Sealing (Ext. 6030) College Press can seal business size envelopes via high speed
equipment.
Laminating (Ext. 6030) College Press has both heat fused and cold fused lamination services available.
Mail Distribution (Ext. 6026) Mechanicsburg Post Office delivers and picks up posted mail Monday –
Friday from campus. Postal Services sorts and delivers external mail to campus, and will immediately
notify the addressee of Express Mail, Certified Mail, Insured mail, etc. when a signature is required. We
also distribute campus mail, UPS and FedEx packages, and do on-campus mass mailings. We maintain
mailboxes for students, faculty and staff.
Mail Forwarding (Ext. 6026) The Campus Post Office forwards mail for the campus for one year after
someone leaves the college. We also forward mail for the summer for those who are not on campus.

Mail Preparation/Merges (Ext. 5615) College Press’s Bulk Mail area does mail merges in Microsoft
Office applications and provides printing, inserting, addressing, barcoding, and sealing for mailing via US
Postal Service..
Mail Metering (Ext. 6026) Postal Services meters outgoing US mail for campus offices and records
postage charges for outgoing mail postage.
Mailbox Keys (Ext. 6026) The Campus Post Office distributes and collects student mailbox keys.
Mass Emails (Ext. 5615) The Bulk Mail at College Press area is responsible for managing the mass
email program. This includes sending requested mass emails to faculty, staff, and students. The Mass
email form is available in MCSquare.
Paper Hole Drilling (Ext. 6030) College Press will drill holes in paper for placing in ring binders.
Printed Material Warehousing (Ext. 6030) College Press has the ability to warehouse a variety of
printed materials for the convenience of some of our clients who order large amounts of printing each
year; particularly the Admissions department.
Printing (Ext. 6030) College Press provides a wide variety of products produced on our offset and
digital presses, including one-, two-, or full-color output.
Recycling Printer Cartridges – Used printer/copier cartridges can be taken to the Post Office; the
Sustainability group will care for their recycling.
Scanning (Ext. 6030) College Press provides traditional image scanning as well as document scanning
for output to a black and white or color printer. Scanning to PDF files can also be done on various
copiers around campus. Please contact College Press at 6030 for details.
Typesetting/Design (Ext. 6030) College Press assists clients with projects ranging in scope from
business cards and brochures to materials including handbooks and catalogs.
UPS Shipping (Ext. 6030) UPS Shipping is done via the employees’ computer using a program
supplied by UPS called CampusShip. You can ship packages for both personal and business use. A user
name and password as well as training are available.
Word Processing (Ext. 5615) College Press provides word processing services which include letter
typing, mail merges and letter printing.

Conference/Event Coordination (Ext. 6009) An event coordinator will be provided to assist when
planning an event or conference. If an event requires set up or technical needs or involves numerous
departments, the event coordinator will assist in organizing the details of the event, creating an Event

Description (ED), which outlines in detail, the entire scheduled event. This ED is distributed to the other
departments that will provide services for the event.
Event Assistance (Ext. 6009) Provide personnel to be available during an event
Room Reservations (Ext. 6009) Room reservations for almost all campus facilities (including
classrooms, conference rooms, and outdoor spaces) can be made by using Virtual EMS. Email
[email protected] to create an account or call x-6009. Room reservations for the Climenhaga
Homestead, both overnight rooms and meeting facilities are reserved through the Ticket Office, ext. 6036.
Set up Requests (Ext. 6009) Any event requiring a set-up must be submitted to the Conference & Event
Services office via Virtual EMS or by sending a listing of all set up needs as detailed as possible to
[email protected] .
Sound & Lighting (Ext. 6009) All requests for sound and lighting must be submitted to the Conference
& Event Services Office via Virtual EMS or by sending a listing of all requests in as much detail as
possible to [email protected] . After the form is submitted, an event coordinator will be in touch
with you to discuss the details of your event.
Sound Monitoring (Ext. 6009) Sound monitoring can be arranged for events that have extensive sound,
lighting, or A/V set ups via Virtual EMS or by sending a listing of all requests in as much detail as
possible to [email protected] . After the form is submitted an event coordinator will be in touch with
you to discuss the details of your event.
Tech Requests (Ext. 6009) All requests for technical set ups must be submitted to the Conference &
Event Services Office via Virtual EMS or by sending a listing of all requests in as much detail as possible
to [email protected] . After the form is submitted an event coordinator will be in touch with you
discuss the details of your event.
Ticket Office (Ext. 6036) The ticket window is located on the 1st floor of the Eisenhower Campus
Center. The ticket office handles ticket sales for all campus events including films, concerts, dances, and
theater productions. A “Ticket Planning” form must be completed for each planned event. The Ticket
Office also handles all Homestead requests/reservations, both overnight stays and use of the downstairs
and conference room.
Virtual EMS (Ext. 6009) Virtual EMS is software managed by Conference & Event Services and can
be used by staff and student groups to reserve most rooms on campus. To initiate its use, email
[email protected] or call x6009 to create an account.
Phone mail - General Help (Ext. 3770) College Receptionist will assist with general questions.
Phone mail Announcements (Ext. 3770) Requests for mass phone mail announcements can be made
by e-mailing the college receptionist at [email protected]. Mass phone mails will only be sent
for announcements that have not already been advertised through a mass e-mail.
Receptionist (Ext. 3770) The college receptionist window is located on the 1st floor of the Eisenhower
Campus Center. You can reach the receptionist by dialing “0” from any on campus phone.
Vehicle Reservations & Key Pick Up (Ext. 3770) All vehicle reservations must be made by
completing the “College Vehicle Request Form” from MC Square. Key pick up for all reserved vehicles
is at the College Receptionist window on the 1st floor of the Eisenhower Campus Center. After the keys

Café Diem – (Ext. 2892) Located in the Murray Library, the Café offers assorted coffee’s, beverages,
desserts, pastries and snacks.

The Falcon (Ext. 6045) The Falcon, located in the Eisenhower Campus Center, is an ideal place to enjoy

Falcon Hut Concessions (Ext. 3270) For HOME athletic events, Dining Services offers a wide variety
of menu items, snacks, treats and beverages for you to enjoy as you cheer for our Falcon Athletes. The
Falcon Hut Concession Stand is located at the Starry Athletic Complex.
Lottie Nelson Dining Room (Ext. 3270) All you can eat offerings with a wide variety of menu
selections daily. Themed meals, entertainment, and a large space for social gatherings all contribute to
making this restaurant the most popular social dining space on campus.

If the student is selecting a plan that they are not eligible for and would like to be considered for an
exception, they must go to the Dining Services Office for approval.

Carpet Cleaning Service (Ext. 6011) Campus Events will provide wet carpet extraction at regular
intervals, once per year for offices, weekly for Lottie Nelson Dining Room and once every 2 years for the
residence halls
Ceiling Tile Replacement (Ext. 6011) Facility Services will provide replacement for standard uncut
ceiling tile for ceilings that are reachable from a six foot ladder.
Cleaning of Buildings – Office, Classroom & Public Areas (Ext. 6011) Campus Events provides
regular cleaning of lounges, halls, lobbies and stairwells.
Deliveries (Ext. 6011) Central Receiving delivers packages to appropriate locations on campus;
delivers packages to departments and student packages to the post office.
Electrical Repair and Maintenance (Ext. 6011) Facility Services repairs light ballast; reset breaker;
replace wiring
Exterior Trash Barrels (Ext. 6011) Grounds Services provides daily litter pickup in each section, and
recycling pick-up.
Furniture Moving (Ext. 6011) Campus Events will provide moving of office or residence hall
furniture. A minimum of 10-business days’ notice is required and the on-line form is available by
accessing the MCSquare Home Page under Employee Forms>Operations titled “Employee Move Form:
Facilities and ITS Moves”.
Furniture Repair (Ext. 6011) Facility Services will assemble furniture; repair/replace

Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Repair and Service (Ext.
6011) Contact Facility Services for any problems with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, as well as
leaking water or glycol.
Interior Pest Control Coordination (Ext. 6011) Facility Services provides a contact for pest
complaints and arrange for 2 monthly visits from a Pest Control Company.
Laundry Services (Ext. 7081) Laundry services are provided via industrial washing, drying, and
folding for on-campus departments, i.e., dining, campus events, and athletics.
Lawn & Garden Maintenance (Ext. 6011) Grounds Services mows grass, weed whips, irrigates
flowers and grass, mulches, prunes trees and shrubs, plants trees and shrubs, cleans sidewalks and roads,
pressure washes pavers, over-seeds and aerates lawns.
Light Bulb Replacement (Ext. 6011) Campus Events provide replacement for common bulbs that are
up to eight feet from the floor.
Locks and Keys (Ext. 6011) Key Services provides Key Inventory; lock installation and repair; door
maintenance repair and installation; key core replacement For the Key Policy
Mattresses Exchange (Ext. 6011) Campus Events cares for new mattresses in residence halls and
discard old mattresses during August.
Painting (Ext. 6011) Facility Services will patch walls; interior/exterior painting; replace stained
ceiling tiles. A Work Order should be submitted via on-line by accessing the Home Page on MCSquare,
and under the Need to Know, "Submit a Maintenance Work Order".
Power washing (Ext. 6011) Grounds Services assists with maintaining the outside of some buildings
throughout the spring and summer by power-washing the outside of the buildings.
Preparation of Athletic Fields (Ext. 6011) Grounds Services provides mowing, painting field lines,
moving goals, irrigating all fields, hanging banners, dragging infields of baseball and softball, overseeding, and aerating.
Preventative Maintenance to all fixed Equipment (Ext. 6011) Facility Services provides
maintenance to Heating, air conditioning, ventilation-coil cleaning, filter change; roof, gutters and
downspouts; walk-in freezer/refrigerator semi-annual PM-check unit for proper operation, refrigerant
pressure and add refrigerant if necessary, inspect refrigerant piping and insulation.
Project and Capital Construction Planning and Oversight (Ext. 6011) Facility Services works with
contractors on daily basis; troubleshoot problems; prepare estimates for projects.
Receiving of Packages (Ext. 3520) Central Receiving receives all incoming shipments and deliveries
of equipment, materials, and supplies.

Rental of Satellite Dwellings (Ext. 6011) Properties rented to non-student and non-employees will be
processed through realtor via Facility Services and the VP for Operations Office. Residence Life handles
student housing of college-owned facilities.
Roadway clean-up (Ext. 6011) Grounds, Facility Services, and Campus Events provides clean-up to
campus infrastructure, applying ice melt to all walks, applying salt to all the roads, removing snow from
athletic fields, and helping students dig their cars out of parking lots.
Roofing Repair and Maintenance (Ext. 6011) Facility Services cleans gutters and downspouts;
repair/replace gutters and downspouts; repair roof leaks
Set Up & Tear Down Events (Ext. 6011) Campus Events provides set up and arranging of equipment
or furniture prior to an event and tear down and storage of equipment or furniture following an event.
Set-up Outdoor Campus Programs and Events (Ext. 6011) Facility Services will provide set-up
assistance to programs or events scheduled through Conference & Event Services, i.e., Commencement,
homecoming, Special Olympics, Relay for Life, Sports Camps, conference and group picnics, and
Welcome week, etc.
Snow Removal - Building Entrances (Ext. 6011) Campus Events is responsible for the snow
removal around the entrances of campus buildings.
Snow Removal – Roadways/Sidewalks (Ext. 6011) Facility Services is responsible for the snow
removal on all roads and sidewalks on campus
Staging Trash/Recyclables (Ext. 6011) Ground Services stages all recyclables, infectious waste,
universal waste, and hazardous waste for preparation for pickup. Packages all infectious waste and
universal waste in appropriate containers, and labels it for pickup from vendor.
Trash & Recycling Collection (Ext. 6011) Grounds Services collects all recyclables, trash, infectious
waste, universal waste, and hazardous waste. Maintains recycling program through educating the
campus on proper ways to recycle and what can be recycled. Messiah recycles cardboard, paper, plastic,
aluminum cans, glass bottles, and metal.
Used Furniture Storage/Retrieval/Delivery/Disposal (Ext. 6011) Campus Events provides
temporary storage of furniture; employee should utilize this inventory prior to new purchases. It is
available to employees in furnishing their campus office. After furniture is in storage for a period of 6
months, disposal is in accordance to established policy.
Vehicle Maintenance (Ext. 6011) Fleet Services is responsible for maintenance; State Safety
Inspections; preventative maintenance; interior repairs and exterior bodywork for all college owned
motorized vehicles
Window Cleaning Service (Ext. 6011) Campus Events provides bi-annual window cleaning to the
exterior windows in the central campus buildings with a few buildings receiving annual service.
Work Order for Maintenance (Ext. 6011) Facility Services performs maintenance on buildings and
equipment. Work orders should be submitted via on-line "Submit a Maintenance Work Order" found on
the Home Tab in MCSquare on the Need To Know Channel.

Building Security (Ext. 6005) Safety unlocks and locks of buildings
Campus First Aid and Blood borne Pathogen Response Kits (Ext. 6022) Safety maintains/restocks
all first aid and BBP kits on campus.
College Fleet Driver Training (Ext. 6005) Safety is responsible for the Safety Driving Program, the
15-passenger van, wheelchair accessible minivan training & testing and the golf cart training.
Applications are found here on the Department of Safety Website, and completed applications are turned
into the College Receptionist
Emergency Maintenance Calls After Hours (Ext. 6005) Dispatch Office will send a Safety officer to
respond, and if needed, will contact facilities services.
Emergency Medical Calls (Ext. 6005) Safety Officers, accompanied by student EMT’s respond to all
reported medical calls and assist with responding emergency medical services.
Emergency Phones (Ext. 6005) Dispatch office manages the proper functioning of the e-phones;
officers check these phones daily and report back to the dispatcher on duty if operating correctly
Equipment Disbursement (Ext. 6005) Dispatch dispenses radios, keys and other items dropped off for
pick up at Dispatch Office
Fingerprinting (Ext. (6747) Safety provides fingerprinting services to students, information regarding
specific hours can be found here.
Fire and Life Safety Systems/Equipment (Ext. 6005) Safety processes all work requests, inspections,
and repairs pertaining to fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, heat detectors, CO
detectors, beam detectors, audible, and visual alarms on campus are handled through the Department of
Safety, Fire Safety Systems.
Fire Drills and Alarms (Ext. 6747) Safety conducts fire alarms and drills on campus in all residential
buildings
Investigation of Campus Incidents and Crimes (Ext. 6005) Safety responds to all reported incidents
and investigates when needed
Jump Packs (Ext. 6005) Dispatch signs-out portable jump packs for jump starting vehicles; jump packs
can be borrowed from the Dispatch Services Office in the Eisenhower Campus Center. To sign out a
jump pack, you must leave your campus ID.

Lost and Found (Ext. 6005) Dispatch manages all items turned in that are found and attempts to return
items to their rightful owner; keeps record of items lost so owner can be contacted if item is turned in
when found.
Parking Assignments and Enforcement (Ext. 7147) Safety assigns parking areas for staff and faculty;
provide enforcement of parking rules and regulations on campus.
Department Radios (Ext. 7147) Safety loans and controls inventory of all campus radios carried by all
employees.
Safety Escort Service (Ext. 6005) Safety officers provided to campus community from dusk to dawn;
use any phone on campus, dial x6005 and a dispatcher will assist you.
Safety Inspections (Ext. 6747) Safety performs fire safety inspections throughout campus and assists
with compliance with safety regulations.
Safety Patrols (Ext. 6005) Safety provides regular routine patrols of campus and surrounding areas.
Safety Training (Ext. 5082) Safety conducts safety training as required or requested. Training
includes: First Aid/CPR/AED, Rape Aggression Defense (RAD), 15-passenger van testing, Sexual
Assault/Harassment Prevention, and Alcohol Education
Security Access / Card Readers (Ext. 6005) Safety must be informed of any card readers that are not
functioning properly. An officer will investigate and will work with appropriate departments to resolve
and correct reader issues.
Security Checks (Ext. 6005) Safety provides overnight checks of critical rooms/areas; i.e. mechanical
rooms, IT equipment and areas, labs, business office, etc.
Temporary Parking Passes (Ext. 6005) Safety assigns temporary parking permits to staff for
temporary parking purposes.
Traffic Control and Enforcement (Ext. 6005) Safety provides traffic control and enforcement for
events and conferences held on campus. A minimum notice of 5-business days is required and the on-line
form is available by accessing the MCSquare Home Page and under Employee Forms > Operations titled
“Dept. of Safety Event Request Form”.
Vehicle Accidents (Ext. 6005) Dispatch must be immediately informed of any accident or damage to a
college-owned vehicle for an officer to prepare an incident report.
Visitor ID & Temporary Parking Pass (Ext. 6005) All visitors/vendors must obtain a visitor card and
report to Dispatch upon arrival; parking hang tags are issued

Crisis Management Plan (Ext. 6003) VP for Operations is chair of the Crisis Management Committee.
Insurance – Automobile (fleet) (Ext. 2080) Managing and reporting accident claims involving fleet
vehicles to insurance carrier is provided by the office of the VP for Operations. (Safety must be notified
immediately of any accidents involving college-owned vehicles)
Insurance - General Liability (domestic / foreign) (Ext. 2080) Managing and reporting of liability
claims to insurance carrier is handled by the office of the VP for Operations. (Safety must be notified
immediately of any liability issues that should arise on and off campus)
Insurance - Professional Liability (Ext. 2080) Maintaining coverage’s and reporting of claims to the
insurance carrier when involving faculty and/or staff is handled by the office of the VP for Operations.
New academic programs involving student interns, etc. must be reported to this office to ensure the
program is added to the appropriate lines of coverage.
Insurance - Property (Ext. 2080) Managing and reporting any claims to the insurance carrier that
involves College-owned property, i.e., buildings, grounds, equipment, etc. is handled by the office of the
VP for Operations. (Safety must be notified immediately of any incidents involving damage to
College owned property)
Insurance Certificates – Professional & General Liability (Ext. 2080) Requests for Certificates
(proof of insurance) are usually obtained due to contractual requirements when renting, leasing, visiting a
facility and/or locations, or students are participating in internships. Certificates are usually for General
Liability and/or Professional Liability and can be obtained via the office of the VP for Operations.
New Construction / Renovations / Land Development (Ext. 6003) Project(s) dealing with new
construction or total renovations involving architects, engineers, and/or contractors are handled by the VP
for Operations. Day to day oversight of projects is handled by the Director of Facilities and/or the Project
Manager in Facility Services.
Notary Services (students/employees only) (Ext. 2080) Notary services are provided for students ,
employees and alumni only and is available in the VP for Operations Office, Benefits Coordinator’s
office, and the Business Office. Notarization service for PennDOT forms or vehicular-type documents,
i.e., titles, registrations, etc. cannot be performed.
Text Alert System (students/employees only) (Ext. 6003) VP for Operations is liaison between Mobile
